What is imitation?

Is imitation good or bad? In what ways?

Have you ever noticed someone imitating you? How did that make you feel?

What or who do you imitate?

What do you see others imitating?

“Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children” -Ephesians 5:1 NIV

Is there a benefit from changing who or what we imitate? Would your personality have to change in some way? How would you describe the difference between copying and imitating someone or something we might aspire to be like?

Separate into small groups and review Ephesians 5:2-20 for small group discussions.
