Ezra’s Devotional: Envy, Jealousy , and the Mind

Prayer helps me to think about God’s perspective.

Envy and Jealousy turns my mind away from God’s perspective.

What we think about can become dangerous.

What we do is often a result of what we think about the most.

Be careful to not let your mind get carried away with destructive thoughts.

“As they danced, they sang: “Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands.” Saul was very angry; this refrain galled him. “They have credited David with tens of thousands,” he thought, “but me with only thousands.
