What have you noticed?

Do older people have a different attitude about things and certain times than younger people? What is old to you?

Have you ever wished you were born in a different era? Which one, and why?

Do you think God inspired any wise words about this topic?

“Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions.”

Why do you think it is unwise for us to ask this question?

“Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe”

-Philippians 2:14-15 )NIV)

This verse presumes we are in a crooked and depraved generation. When do you think this was written? Is our generation also crooked and depraved? Why or why not?

If we do things without complaining or arguing, will we seem different than others in our culture?
