The world wants us to put our identity, mission, and our individual value into temporary things, to invest in what our culture cares about, some of which can be good things, but they don’t always have eternal value. These things can be a distraction from better things that God has for us.

God made each of us like priceless works of art, unique and wonderful, reflecting His vision and creativity. Can you be inspired by other people? I can. Probably because people are made by God, even though many aren’t embracing that reality yet, and many don’t understand or appreciate their own value.
“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Do you appreciate your value, and agree with God that you were wonderfully made? Pray to ask God to reveal what reality you have been missing, and pray to clean away the false ideas that you have been accepting from the culture around you.
